How Can I Recover Permanently Deleted Files?

I accidentally permanently deleted several important files and can’t find them in the Recycle Bin. Is there a reliable way to recover deleted files without overwriting or damaging the data?

Stop using the drive immediately, especially if the deleted files were on your main system drive. New downloads, updates, temporary files, and even installing recovery software can overwrite the deleted data. Before scanning, check any cloud storage, File History, Windows Backup, or application-specific backups you may have. Files deleted from a synced folder might still be available through OneDrive, Dropbox, or Google Drive’s online trash or version history even when the Windows Recycle Bin is empty.
