How to Screen Mirror on Samsung Smart TV?

Hi!

I’m trying to figure out how to screen mirror my phone or laptop to my Samsung smart TV. I’ve tried a few things but haven’t had much success. My TV is a newer model, and I’m sure it has the capability, but I’m not sure if I need to adjust settings or use a specific app.

Has anyone here successfully done this and can guide me through the process? I’m especially interested in mirroring from an iPhone or a Windows laptop. Thanks in advance!

The DoCast app is a third-party app that allows you to screen mirror your iPhone or iPad to a Samsung Smart TV. It works over Wi-Fi, so both your iPhone and TV need to be on the same network. You just need to download the app, follow the on-screen instructions to connect, and then you can start mirroring your device’s screen. It’s a good alternative if AirPlay isn’t available on your Samsung TV.

To screen mirror on a Samsung Smart TV, the DoCast app - ‎Screen Mirror Smart TV: DoCast on the App Store is a good option for iPhones, offering easy setup, but it may have occasional lag. Samsung Smart View is a built-in feature that works well with both iPhones and Windows laptops, providing reliable mirroring, though setup can be a bit tricky. AirPlay is also available on newer models for seamless iPhone mirroring. Check your TV’s settings for these options.
